The Pearl Cleage & Zaron Burnett Center for Culture & Creativity (PCZB) is officially open to the public. Located in the heart of Atlanta’s historic West End community, this center will serve as a dynamic and inclusive space for Atlanta’s creative community, offering flexible accommodations for small gatherings, rehearsals, workshops, meetings, and intimate performances. With a warm, minimalist aesthetic and an emphasis on accessibility, the PCZB is ideally suited for creatives and community members seeking an inspiring environment to gather, create, and collaborate.
Formerly known as the West End Performing Arts Center, this reimagined facility honors the enduring legacy of acclaimed playwright and activist Pearl Cleage and her husband, writer and director Zaron W. Burnett Jr.
Pearl Cleage once said, “Every person has a story worth hearing, worth telling” and PCZB will be that safe, creative environment for those powerful stories to be told.
The facility will operate Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Constituents may submit booking requests through an online reservation form. The Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs invite artists, organizers, and cultural workers across Atlanta to explore how the PCZB can support their creative vision.
