Located in the heart of Adair Park, Molly Sanyour Ceramics Studio is a modern, community-driven hub for pottery lovers. With a spacious, inspiring studio, entrepreneur Molly Sanyour offers classes, workshops, and private events that invite everyone—from beginners to seasoned artists—to explore the joy of working with clay.
For Molly, clay has always been a passion. As a child, she was the student who skipped recess to spend extra time in the art room, shaping and molding clay into something new. She went on to teach ceramics in high school before setting her sights on opening her own studio.
When Molly decided Atlanta was the place to launch her business, she began searching for ways to fund her dream. That’s when she discovered Invest Atlanta, the City of Atlanta’s economic development authority.
“I clicked the link [to Invest Atlanta], learned more, and found a great resource and support system,” she recalls.
Through the Atlanta Recovery Loan Fund program, Molly received the guidance and financial support she needed. “Working with Invest Atlanta was very similar to how I worked with my high school students,” she explains. “I used to tell them, ‘Just turn something in. If you don’t, you get a zero. But if you do, I can help you achieve more.’ Invest Atlanta was the same way—they walked me through every step.”
Molly invites the community to visit the studio located at 945 Allene Avenue SW in Suite G for classes, workshops or just a Sunday drop-in.
“Come out and just get your hands messy,” Molly says. “It’s all about creativity, fun, and community. And that’s what everybody needs right now—fun, creativity, and unity.”
